This service gives you the chance to “see” your exterior changes via real-life exterior renderings. Each service includes 2-3 options, which can include anything from exterior paint colors, to a new awning or updated garage doors. If new exterior colors is your main goal, this service will also include final color selections.
There’s several things I’ll gather from you in the beginning, like photos of your home, any neighborhood or HOA restrictions, your wish-fors and any stay-away-froms! I may even ask you to creep around and take photos of your neighbors’ homes. But only if you’re feeling brave… ha!
Like my other services, this is a collaborative process with some back-and-forth as we align on the perfect colors.
This service can be done virtually or in-person.

I’m happy to recommend my favorite painters and contractors to those using this service. All finding, hiring and managing the exterior work is the responsibility of the homeowner.
Ha! We certainly live in a time where painting exterior brick is “in” and there are also times when it makes sense to recommend it! But there’s also times when it’s not necessary to make an impact. Long story short—maybe!
On exterior projects where it’s mostly paint, yes, you’ll have the information from me that you need to direct your painter.
On larger scale exterior renovations where large elements of the structure are changing, my plans should serve as informed direction but will not include the drawing, measurements and details needed to start work.
I’m with you—white is one of the trickiest colors to nail down for an exterior! And every home will need a different type of white (some a little more greige, others more creamy, some even yellow) to complement it best. This is where the swatching comes in, as we work to finalize the colors.
This is when we select the final colors. Once we’ve aligned on a specific direction, I’ll provide 2-3 colors to “swatch” on the home. So, for example, for a dusty blue, we’d be choosing between Moody Blue and Debonair. Once the colors are on the home, we make the final selections together.
No problem–just mention it while we quote your project.
My availability changes every day but I work hard to book less than 60 days out. Once started, this service takes two weeks to put together the initial recommendation. If you’re on ASAP timing, just mention it, and I’ll see what I can do!
