DESIGN PLANS
STARTS AT $1600
Design Plans are my most comprehensive interior service and give you everything you need to complete a space, including what to buy and where to place it. Design plans are designed to take the guesswork out of interior design, from buying the right faucet to choosing the perfect curtain length. Remember those bed-in-a-bags, where everything is included? Yep, it’s kind of like that!
The Design Plan service starts with aligning on the vision for the space, then quickly moves into space planning and sourcing. Every item is selected with placement, scale and budget in mind. Once the design is aligned on, the homeowner receives their custom PDF with design board, shopping links, space plan and more. Then the homeowner is responsible for bringing the plan to life, at their preferred pace and as their budget (and real life!) allows.
Design Plans are quoted per space at flat rate. Flat rate depends on scope of needs and size of space.
Design Plans can be done both locally and virtually.
Design Plans are perfect for:
big or small full remodels, kitchen and bath design, new construction and more.
FAQS
The flat rate includes all scoped meetings, vision board work, overall design, shopping links, 2D space plans and one round of revisions. Interior renderings are not included.
Visualizations (mock-ups, Photoshop work) are often used to bring the idea to life, but official 3D-rendered, movable images (think HGTV!) aren’t typically a part of a project unless otherwise discussed. They’re cost prohibitive and I think we can accomplish visualization without them!
A vision board happens before the designing of your space begins. The vision board is a tool I use to ensure we’re aligned on the space’s future style. There’s nothing worse than wanting boho eclectic and getting a plan with Joanna Gaines shiplap! A vision board ensures we’re aligned from the get-go.
I will always stay close to any predetermined budget I receive. If requested, I will sometimes put together an actual tracking document, which calculates retail cost, taxes and shipping so that all costs are considered while designing. If this is something that interests you (fellow Excel freak!), please mention it during the quoting process.
I will never charge through a commission or mark-up on items I’ve sourced for your space. I do sometimes receive commission on items I recommend via affiliate links, but these do not affect your ability to get the best price.
I prefer not to do custom anything! With all of the options available to us today, it’s very likely we’ll find something perfect and for much less than a custom piece. Let’s use those dollars on something more impactful for the space!
The finding/hiring/managing of any outside tradespeople and contractors to execute the design is the responsibility of the homeowner. You will have access to my list of favorite folks to contact to complete the space, but beyond that, the execution work is up to you! This allows me to keep my costs (and yours!) lower than a typical full-service designer.
It’s your space so I’d say you’re the head honcho! Some homeowners want to be involved in the design (suggesting options, shopping help) while others prefer to plug in my work and go. My goal is to provide you with the best experience and the best space—however that happens is up to us.
